Lotus is all set to strengthen its footprints in India in 2025 by adding two new very exciting cars, the Emira and Emeya! In 2023, Lotus introduced the Eletre, which is a powerful electric luxury SUV capable of giving some other popular SUVs a run for their money. The Emira is a two-door sports car and is the automaker’s final internal combustion-only offering. The Emeya is an all-electric roadster that comes with dual motors capable of offering breathtaking performance!

Lotus Emira 

The Emira stands as the sole two-door internal combustion engine sports car from the British manufacturer, and it will be launched in India in two variants: the Emira First Edition and the Emira V6 First Edition. The Emira is anticipated to feature a choice between a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine and a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine derived from Mercedes-AMG, which also powers the A45 model. The V6 engine will be available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, whereas the Mercedes-sourced engine will exclusively pair with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). 

The First Edition delivers an impressive 370 PS and 430 Nm of torque, boasting a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.4 seconds. For those seeking even greater power, the V6 variant is available, generating 411 PS and 420 Nm, and achieving the same sprint in a slightly faster 4.3 seconds. The top speed of the V6 model reaches an exhilarating 290 km/h.

The Emira is a stunning sight, to put it mildly! It draws inspiration from its formidable counterpart, the Evija hypercar. Featuring vertical LED headlights with a sleek twin-blade design, the Emira truly stands out. The vehicle features a 12.3-inch digital driver's display alongside a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 10-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, rear parking sensors (with front sensors available as an option), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and wipers that automatically sense rain. 

Lotus Emeya 

The all-electric Emeya roadster is expected to be available in 3 variants,  the Emeya, Emeya S and Emeya R, respectively. The Emeya features a 102 kWh battery pack, offering a maximum claimed range of 610 km. Here is a detailed look at its specifications:
