As excitement builds around the Detroit Lions' upcoming Divisional Round playoff game, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is rallying the state’s support for the team in a creative way. This morning, Governor Whitmer launched a statewide contest inviting Michiganders of all ages to submit their own drawings of the iconic Detroit Lions logo.

An Appeal for Solidarity
“The Lions have truly won our hearts and filled us with optimism for a Super Bowl run this season,” stated Governor Whitmer. “I encourage everyone to support the team by creating and sharing your own rendition of their logo. Let’s demonstrate to the Lions that we stand behind them as they head into the playoffs.”
