As all Galaxy S25 variants come with higher RAM and storage and the costlier Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Samsung had to increase the prices of the phones slightly. A recent hike in the dollar value (to the South Korean won) also affected the decision.
According to reports, Samsung has set internal pricing for the Galaxy S25 series specifically for the South Korean market. The official pricing details are expected to be disclosed on January 22 (US time zone) at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event.

The South Korean company is expected to release a range of budget-friendly smartphones, such as the Galaxy A36, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy Z Flip FE, later this year.
The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are expected to debut in the first quarter of this year, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Flip FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy S25 FE may be introduced in the latter half of 2025.
