Apple has officially secured a position on the board of the Ultra Accelerator Link Consortium, which comprises over 65 members focused on developing the next generation of AI accelerator architecture. This partnership enables Apple to shape the emerging standards and advocate for their implementation. Essentially, this means that Apple will play a significant role in establishing and promoting a standard for linking multiple GPUs in data centers that are dedicated to AI operations.
