The Hershey Company is set to see a leadership change as its chief executive officer, Michele Buck, announces her retirement. Buck, who made history as the first female CEO of Hershey, has been in her role since March 2017, with her retirement taking effect on June 30. Until a successor is appointed, she will continue to fulfill her duties, after which she intends to step down from the board of directors and take on a senior advisor position until her retirement. The CEO of the Hershey Company is stepping down from their position.

Michele Buck made history as Hershey's first female CEO, a role she has occupied since March 2017.

She will officially retire on June 30.

She will continue in her current positions until a successor has been appointed.

She intends to step down from her position on the board of directors and move into a senior advisory role leading up to her retirement.
