The e燃費 app has been supported by many media outlets such as Nikkei Shimbun, Nikkei Trendy, Best Car, and Asahi Shimbun, and has also been featured on various TV programs including WBS on TV Tokyo, Bankisha! on NTV, and Asa-Chan! on TBS. The app has been evolving for 15 years and has now introduced a new "Drive Log" feature in its fourth generation. It aims to support users' car lives with convenient and enjoyable functions.

The main features of e燃費 include the ability to check the real fuel efficiency of your car on the home screen, displaying the latest fuel efficiency prominently and graphically showing the history of fuel efficiency. The interface allows users to easily see the improvement rate and changes in fuel efficiency. The graph also displays the average fuel efficiency of the same car model (rival average), providing a benchmark for eco-driving.

With the new e燃費, users can now submit fuel efficiency data by simply taking a photo of the fuel receipt using their smartphone's camera. Previously, users had to manually input information such as mileage, fuel consumption, payment amount, and gas station information. The new feature makes fuel efficiency management more convenient and enjoyable. The app also offers a revamped interface for manual input, allowing users to input fuel efficiency data smoothly using their smartphones.

The app's new "Drive Log" feature automatically records driving data without the need for additional devices or connections. By inputting drive stamps, users can not only summarize their drives and reminisce about their memories, but also obtain information about the distance and time taken for commuting routes (traffic congestion level). This information can be used to further improve fuel efficiency.

In addition to these features, e燃費 also allows users to submit photos of gas station price boards, making it easier to post the displayed gasoline prices. The app also includes an improved "Gas Station Map" feature for quickly finding nearby gas stations. Users can easily check real-time gasoline prices posted by other users on the map by tapping on the icons of the gas stations.

The app also includes a "Car Life Manager" feature for managing maintenance records, including information about replacement and renewal periods for consumables and licenses. Proper maintenance at the right time contributes to keeping the car in the best condition and ensures a comfortable and long-lasting car life.

Please note that keeping the Wi-Fi on at all times improves the accuracy of location information, and continuous GPS usage in the background may consume a significant amount of battery. However, the app has implemented measures to minimize battery consumption, such as stopping location information acquisition when not in motion. If battery consumption is a concern, users can turn off the "Drive Log" feature and continue using the e燃費 app with the same battery consumption as before.
